I also want to remember my dear eldest daughter, Sue who also died from cancer at 40 years old. Grief ebbs and flows in tides and then steals away to a distance. Then it comes roaring back and plays games with reality.

Life can be sometimes froth and bubble But Jill's also stood like stone Kindness in another's trouble Courage in her own.

This page is dedicated to the memory of my beautiful sister Jill. Jill was an inspiration to so many people, with her positive outlook on life. Always happy to chat to anyone and never complaining about any of life's challenges that she was faced with. She shared many happy times growing up in Woking and later enjoyed married life with her beloved husband Chris in Peterborough, until he sadly passed away. She loved tap dancing when she was younger, being a Queens Guide, her budgies, her horse "Barney", going out for coffee and cake, but most of all she just loved people. I am sure Jill would like us to thank the nurses and everyone at Sam Beare in Weybridge who were so very kind to her in her last few weeks.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
